Poznan International Fair started its preparation for the conferences organized for the Polish Presidency of the European Union in July. For the purpose of nearly 20 international conferences a large part of PIF premises has bee adapted: pavilions 7, 7A, 8, 8A, and 14B, which houses, among others, plenary hall, conference rooms, press area and catering space. For the duration of the meetings, the whole area will be tightly fenced and the entrance to the extraterritorial zone will be possible only for the registered badge holders.

The program of nearly 20 events includes, among others, V European Equality Summit, an informal meeting of ministers responsible for regional policy, territorial cohesion and urban development, as well as conference "Integrated Approach to Development - a Key to Smart, Sustainable and Inclusive Europe", which will be attended by ministers, commissioners and high-level experts representing various thematic areas of regional policy, regional development, urban issues
and Cohesion Policy.

During the conference, MTP premises might be visited by EU Commissioner for Health, John Dali, WHO Regional Director in Europe Zsuzsanna Jakab, President Bronislaw Komorowski, former President Lech Walesa, Health Minister, Ewa Kopacz and footballer Zinedine Zidane.
